REALITY or ILLUSION

There is a lot of talk on the airwaves as to whether we exist in a world of reality or a world of illusion. Some might even say that we live the dream, which when you think about it is not that far wrong considering that we make stuff with our hands but we create with our minds! Then if we create our own reality it must happen somewhere between dream and imagination. Wouldn’t you say?

To me the two merge with blurred edges into a fascinating cauldron of creativity in which I know I have created my present in this life from that pot of potential that has been bubbling away for the whole of this life since the first breath when Soul took up residence and Spirit burst upon the scene, as mind received the first injection of consciousness and the brain began to fire on some of its cylinders. Sadly not all but we are working on it!

Of course the obvious turn of the waking consciousness is to wonder that if we did create all this, then where on earth did we go wrong? It was a difficult part of my health and safety training when I came across risk management. But when you see the chaos that erupts when things go wrong like the Chevron Oil and the BP disaster in the Gulf it gives the impression that if risk was assessed at all then at some point someone must have said, ‘Oh sod it we’ll do it anyway no matter what happens!’

Unfortunately no one on the planet has realised that by allowing such spillages to happen and pouring all our domestic and industrial waste into our rivers and oceans we are fast approaching the same smell that we experience here in Spain on the way to the shops past the badly managed waste disposal plant, but on a massive scale!

Despite the miniscule efforts of NGOs around the world, don’t get me wrong they do a good job, but their efforts are micro compared with the macro that is needed and governments turn a blind eye to problems that in the long term can only overstretch their budgets, overburden their health departments and poison their people in the process. If only they would act now and save themselves, their countries and their people how much better both we and the planet itself would be!

Of course the blame is spread onto the shoulders of us all in our constant demand for more of the same that produced the problems in the first place. The only glimmer of hope as I see it are the ground roots movements happening around the world to downsize, grow your own but most of all to respect and help out our neighbours and those most in need.

Is it reality, or is it not reality? All things are reality. Even if only one is imagining it, it is a reality in that the thought has been offered and someone, who has the ability to translate that vibration, will perceive it. It must be fair to say that anything that can be perceived must be reality. Because, as creators, your reality depends upon what you are willing to imagine and allow.

Can we all please imagine and allow a fair, just and equal earth where we are all given the freedom and the opportunity to grow and provide for ourselves in an ecological, sustainable and renewable way, in an atmosphere of love and respect for all and also for ourselves. Now that was the operative word “LOVE” which is the opposite of ‘fear’. Did you realise that if you remove every aspect of fear from your consciousness Love would pervade every fibre of your being and in the process would release the other 90% of your brain from the shackles imposed on it by fear?
Although this is posted on the Fools Day please read in all seriousness.
