PATHWAYS to WHO YOU ARE

Where are you on your pathway to the Divine?
What for that matter is your Divine?
Do you agree there is one God?
Do you agree there is a God?

If there is one God then your God must be my God.
Why then do you quarrel with the way I worship my God who is your God.
Is it for you, or some ancient cleric to control the way I see, the way I praise, the way I pray to my God, or perhaps I should say our God?

Surely it is not up to to you or me or the ancients to govern how we view our Divinity, but up to God Himself who accepts all ways to Him, who accepts all names we give Him, who loves us all no matter who we are or how we act?

I bless you and I respect your choice of pathway to God. If invited I would willingly join you in your worship, I might not be familiar with your ritual, but I know that our joint prayers would reach the same destination, the same source of all.

But sadly we, that is our so called betters and leaders in the hierarchy of our religions have decreed that we not only must be different, but that we must accentuate our differences because that is what determines which is the right way, the correct pathway to approach the one and only God.

Little do they realise that all pathways join together at some point and all reach the same destination. There are many rites of passage and religious rituals, born out of the rigours of control ordered by those who rise to the dizzy heights of religious power where staying power to stay in power needs must invariably involve violence.

Every year at about this time the many towns and villages here in Spain celebrate the struggles and battles between the Christians and Moslems with ranks of opposing armies in uniformed costumes with swords and guns, merely to perpetuate the difference yet again. But in a good natured slaughter you understand, in these days of equality and political correctness the Moslems win one day and Christians the next.

Abraham puts it like this:
You are killing more of each other every day over your quarrels over religion than all other things put together, because you cannot even come to an agreement about what you think God says, or wants for you. On one side of the world God wants something different than the other. On one side of the room, in one side of your mind, God wants something different than on the other.

The power is within you. You are extensions of this powerful Source Energy. You are literally God expressing in this physical body. And so, as you are standing in a thought, or in a word, or in an action that feels good to you as you are standing there-then you are fully open and allowing all of that Divine Energy to flow through you.

And in that moment you are all that you said you would be when you decided to come forth into this body. You are the extension of pure positive energy. You are in your full creative power. You are thriving. You are clear-minded. You are joyful. You are filled with love. You are who you are-you are allowing that which you really are.
